Meet The Brother Of Adam Lambert

American singer and songwriter, Adam Mitchel Lambert was born on January 29th 1982. The singer was born in Indianapolis in Indiana in the United States of America to Leila and Eber Lamnbert. His mother worked as a dental hygienist and his father worked as a programs manager for Novatel Wireless. Adam Lambert had a brother named Niel Lambert.

Early & Education

Adam Lambert’s mother is Jewish with Romanian roots, and his father has some Norwegian ancestry. Lambert was brought up in his mother’s faith. Neil is his younger brother. His family relocated to San Diego, California, not long after he was born. At the age of nine, Lambert started performing with the Metropolitan Educational Theatre network (now MET2). A few years later, as he progressed through Mesa Verde Middle School and then Mount Carmel High School, he started receiving more intensive acting and singing tra ining. He also continued to perform with MET2 and what would ultimately become the Broadway Bound Youth Theatre Foundation.

He actively participated in theater and choir there, sang in the school’s jazz band, and took part in regional Air Bands contests. In addition, he had guest appearances in professional plays at theaters like The Starlight, The Lyceum, and others, including Hello, Dolly!, Camelot, The Music Man, Grease, Chess, and Peter Pan. He attended California State University, Fullerton after graduating from high school in 2000, but left after just five weeks to travel to Los Angeles and start his entertainment career since he thought life is all about taking chances.

Career

At the age of 19, Lambert worked as a performer for Anita Mann Productions for ten months on a cruise ship. After that, he gave a performance in an Orange County, California light opera. By age 21, he had a manager and had been hired for a European tour of the musical Hair. Prior to playing Joshua in The Ten Commandments: The Musical at the Kodak Theatre with Val Kilmer, he performed in productions of Brigadoon by Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) and 110 in the Shade by the Pasadena Playhouse in 2004.

He caught the casting director’s eye for the musical Wicked, which led to his employment as Fiyero’s understudy and an ensemble member in the musical’s 2005 first national tour and 2007 Los Angeles production. In 2008, he put an end to his performances in the musical. Together with Steve Sidelnyk, Tommy Victor, and Monte Pittman, Lambert briefly fronted the indie rock group The Citizen Vein during this time. He also worked as a demo singer and session musician; the album Take One, which was released in 2009, had a collection of his 2005 recordings.

He has sold more than 3 million albums and 5 million singles globally since 2009. Theatrical training and both contemporary and traditional genres are combined in Lambert’s powerful vocal performances. After placing second on the eighth season of American Idol, Lambert gained recognition in 2009. His debut album “For Your Entertainment” was released later that year and debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200. Numerous songs were released from the album, including “Whataya Want from Me,” for which he was nominated for a Grammy in the category of “Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.”

“Trespassing”, Lambert’s second studio album, was released in 2012. As the first openly gay musician to top the album charts, the record debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. The Original High, Lambert’s third album, was released in 2015; it featured the hit “Ghost Town” and debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200.Along with his solo endeavors, Lambert has been performing as the main vocalist for Queen + Adam Lambert since 2011. This collaboration has included multiple international tours from 2014 through 2022. Live Around the World, their debut album arrived at the top of the UK Albums Chart in October 2020.

Late in 2019, Lambert established the nonprofit Feel Something Foundation, which serves as the foundation for his continuous work for LGBTQ+ and human rights. Support for organizations and initiatives that directly and disproportionately affect the LGBTQ+ community, such as those in the fields of education, the arts, mental health, suicide prevention, and homelessness, is a specific area of emphasis for the organization.

Personal Life

Adam Lambert acknowledged his sexual orientation in a Rolling Stone cover interview after initially coming out online during his competition to win American Idol. He dated Finnish reality TV star and entertainment reporter Sauli Koskinen from November 2010 to April 2013, when Lambert revealed that they had amicably parted. Model Javi Costa Polo and Lambert were romantically involved from March until November of this year. At the age of 27, Lambert received his first tattoo, and he has since continued to collect images and designs as reminders of significant events and themes in his life. Just before American Idol premiered, he got his first tattoo, an Eye of Horus, on his wrist. Since then, he has added numerous more to cover his limbs and torso. Famous tattooists Roxx, Daniel Meyer, and Maxime Plescia-Büchi have all inked him.
